What makes a great mentor?
A great mentor is someone who shares expertise, offers guidance, and provides honest feedback while empowering their mentee to make informed decisions. Key qualities include: • Experience & Knowledge – Expertise in their field with real-world insights. • Active Listening – Understanding mentees’ unique challenges and needs. • Encouragement & Support – Boosting confidence while holding mentees accountable. • Commitment – Dedication to guiding and following up on progress.
How do I find the right mentor?
Finding the right mentor starts with understanding your goals. On Women4Women: 1. Create your profile and specify your business challenges and goals. 2. Browse mentor profiles based on industry, skills, and experience. 3. Match with a mentor using our AI-driven recommendation system. 4. Book a session and start gaining insights to grow your business. We ensure that every mentorship connection is meaningful, relevant, and aligned with your aspirations.
Why is structured mentorship better than informal advice?
Structured mentorship provides: Clear Goals & Guidance – Helps mentees set and achieve milestones. Consistency – Regular sessions ensure continuous growth. Accountability – Keeps mentees on track with actionable steps. Personalized Support – Matches mentees with experienced mentors relevant to their needs. Unlike casual networking, Women4Women offers structured, goal-oriented mentorship to maximize impact.
Can I become both a mentor and a mentee?
Yes! Many users start as mentees and later become mentors once they gain expertise. If you have skills or experience to share while still learning, you can apply for both roles and gain from both perspectives. Women4Women is a dynamic

How does matching work?
We use a smart matching system based on: • Industry & Business Stage – Matching mentees with mentors in relevant sectors. • Skills & Expertise – Ensuring mentors offer targeted guidance. • Personal Goals & Challenges – Aligning mentorship with what mentees need most. Mentees can also browse mentor profiles and request sessions with the best fit.
Is this free to use?
Women4Women offers: • Free Plan: Limited access to mentorship sessions and networking events. • Pro Plan: Paid membership with priority mentor matching, exclusive events, and personal branding support. As a non-profit initiative, our goal is to keep mentorship accessible while sustaining operations through memberships and partnerships.
How do sessions happen?
Once you’ve matched with a mentor, you can schedule a session directly through the platform. All sessions are held virtually via Zoom or another video conferencing tool. You’ll be able to choose a time that works for both you and your mentor, and each session typically lasts 45–60 minutes. You’ll also receive reminders and follow-up resources to help you reflect and take action after the session.
